My love for makeup started in middle school. Although I initially thought I’d be in hair, I quickly realized makeup was my true passion. I became hooked on YouTube tutorials from beauty icons like Jeffree Star and Jaclyn Hill, refining my skills through experimentation. My talent didn’t go unnoticed, and soon I was doing makeup for family and friends. Encouraged by my mother, who owns A Perfect Face Day Spa, I pursued professional training alongside estheticians and master MUAs.
In college, I got my first on-site wedding makeup request, and that experience solidified my desire to turn my passion into a business. I realized I could combine my love for makeup with my entrepreneurial spirit. I hold a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a Master’s in Marketing Intelligence, which helps me manage my brand and offer clients an exceptional experience.

Your safety is our top priority! We do not clean brushes in between clients - Each client is applied with a freshly sanitized and clean brush set that is used exclusively for them. You'll also receive a personal makeup touch-up kit to keep, complete with a brand-new beauty blender and powder puff. All makeup products are thoroughly sanitized between clients using 70% alcohol spray to eliminate bacteria and prevent any cross-contamination. We follow strict hygiene protocols to ensure a clean, safe, and luxurious makeup experience from start to finish.

Katie and her trained Artists (magicians) study your features and skin type to highlight and accentuate your natural beauty and create a balanced, bold finished look that will be turning heads all day long.
We provide all the materials and equipment necessary for your convenience (that most other vendors rely on you or your venue to supply) including tables, chairs, lighting, mirrors, etc... and of course, products for everybody! We will even provide personalized product recommendations based on your unique skincare and makeup needs, so you can confidently put your best face forward on your big day and beyond!
At Contoured by Katie, you're not booking through a bridal agency — you’re booking directly with Katie herself. This is a true small business and a one-woman show, with Katie personally present at every single wedding she books. While Katie does have three trusted Makeup Artists who assist her for larger parties, each one has been carefully trained to match her signature style and standard of excellence.
Katie takes great pride in her work and does not trust just anyone to assist her — she knows her clients are investing in her talent and vision. Because of her hands-on, intimate approach, Katie and her Team can accommodate up to 12 makeup services maximum per wedding day. Beyond that, she chooses not to expand, ensuring that every bride and bridal party receives the highest level of personal attention and artistry.

Hi, I’m Megan! I studied Nursing at Towson University and am currently a full-time nurse in the Oncology ICU at Johns Hopkins. While my career in healthcare is my main focus, my love for makeup and beauty has been a constant passion of mine from a young age.
I’ve been doing my older sister’s makeup for homecoming, prom, and special events since I was a teenager, and it sparked my interest in makeup artistry. I officially started learning professional makeup techniques in college, where I trained under Katie, and began assisting her at weddings and special events in 2021. Katie and I actually met in college and became best friends when she was announced as my “Big” when I joined my sorority.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of training 1:1 with Katie and have been working alongside her at weddings for almost four years now. In addition to my makeup artistry, I’m currently training to become a nurse injector, so you can trust me with all things beauty, inside and out. Outside of makeup, I love spending quality time with my family and friends and finding moments to relax and unwind.
Hi, I’m Amanda! I’m a freelance makeup artist who decided to turn my passion for makeup into a career by attending MUD, Make-Up Designory, in Los Angeles, CA. MUD’s pristine makeup program focuses on the intricacies of professional makeup artistry for film, television, bridal, fashion, theater, and retail.
Here, I was trained by top-of-the-line industry professionals on how to perfect any type of look under any conditions. I completed my training and certification during the COVID-19 pandemic, which gave me a deep understanding of proper sanitation and hygiene practices.
I also developed a thorough knowledge of skincare and makeup ingredients to best suit each client’s needs based on their skin type and concerns. Through MUD's 24-week Master Makeup Artistry Program, I gained confidence in addressing any makeup concerns with precision and skill.
After completing my training, I moved back to my hometown in Southern Maryland to start my own makeup business. I began working with Katie in 2021, assisting at weddings and helping create beautiful bridal party glam. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of receiving intensive 1:1 training from Katie to master her signature style and be able to replicate it flawlessly on bridesmaids.
